About Us 

 

Founded by the Tierney Family in 1934, (right after prohibition), Tierney’s Tavern has proudly served Montclair for generations. The Tierney family made the current location their home even earlier than that, in the 1890s. Now the 5th generation of the Tierney family has come into the fold as the Tavern has reached its 90th year. We plan to be around for many more decades to come.
