
Upstairs at Tierney’s Tavern
Upstairs here at Tierney’s we have hosted all kinds of events over the years! Bands, weddings, birthdays, comedy shows, plays, and the list goes on.
The rental fee is $60.00 an hour with a 2-hour minimum, and this includes the cost of having a bartender. This fee does not include tip.
We can host up to 135 guests depending on your seating arrangements. Upstairs at Tierney's currently seats 55-60. If additional tables and chairs are bought in, the room can seat up to 100. The room allows for 135 standing room only with no tables or chairs in the room.
Please let us know how many guests you intend to have; the number of guests will not cost you extra - it just helps us to make a staff schedule.

You are free to set up or decorate beforehand, just contact us to arrange this.
We suggest having your event catered as we do not have a second kitchen upstairs. Luckily the area is spoiled for choice when it comes to potential caterers! We would like to recommend 8 Hills Catering.
There are several ways guests and hosts can pay:

We can have a regular bar so that each guest pays for their own tab.

You can host an open bar in which you pay for your guests.

You can have a semi-open bar – so for example, you might decide to pay for beer and wine but have your guests pay for cocktails and liquors.

Bands are responsible for collecting their cover fees at the door.
